We’re Ole and LaDonna, longtime Ketchikan locals, commercial salmon fishermen and avid travelers. We’ve spent decades exploring Southeast Alaska by boat and sharing this incredible part of the world with others. My husband Ole is an Alaska photographer who has spent years capturing the landscapes and wildlife we love, and I’m an Alaska cookbook and children’s book author. We’ve also had the pleasure of presenting aboard cruise ships, sharing stories about our life in Ketchikan and our experiences commercial fishing in Alaska. Together, we love sharing the places we know, the experiences we enjoy and the practical advice we’ve learned from living, working and traveling in Alaska.
