My Tiny Alaskan Oven

Tiny Alaskan Oven
Step aboard the LaDonna Rose, where I’ve been cooking up comfort and creativity in the coziest little kitchen you can imagine – a 4×7 foot galley on our 32-foot commercial fishing boat based in Ketchikan, Alaska. Life at sea is wild, wonderful, and always moving (literally!), but that’s never stopped me from whipping up delicious, down-to-earth meals from scratch.

I’m LaDonna – a California girl who fell for Alaska, commercial fishing, and my husband Ole (not necessarily in that order!). In this cookbook, I share the real meals I make on the fly with a tiny oil stove, no shortcuts, and no “heat and eat” in sight. Just fresh, simple, and satisfying recipes that have kept us well-fed through every fishing season.

From my tiny oven to your kitchen, I hope these recipes bring a little taste of Alaska into your home!
